10 swastikas found spray painted on Yonkers home
A third set of spray-painted swastikas have been found in the city of Yonkers in just the last week, and right in the middle of the Jewish High Holidays.
Carlos Cruz, a tenant at 106 Lincoln Ave., says his landlord came to do some work in an empty first-floor apartment yesterday when he discovered the vandalism on the outside of the home and the patio.
Cruz says the neighborhood is typically quiet, but now it seems more like a zoo.
Just last week, several swastikas were found spray painted at the Wakefield train station on the Yonkers border.
Police say they don't have any leads on the most recent vandalism, but are treating the incident as a bias crime.
