Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with Friday's shooting that wounded three people outside of a Yonkers pizzeria.
The suspect, whose name is not being released because of his age, allegedly opened fire just after 6 p.m. Friday night at the corner of Palisade Avenue and Elm Street. Three people, including a 9-year-old girl, were injured.
The suspect was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. All three victims are expected to be OK.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano says the area is a "hotspot" for crime in the city and police will be increasing their patrols in the area.
