2 arrested in fatal drive-by shooting
Police in Newburgh have made a second arrest in connection with the drive-by murder of a 15-year-old on Dubois Street.
Police have charged 16-year-old Joshua Torres, of Beacon, and 21-year-old Daniel Correa, of Newburgh, with second-degree murder in the death of Jeffrey Zachary.
Investigators say Zachary was gunned down across the street from his home while talking with some friends Tuesday night.
According to police, Torres was driving the car and Correa fired the shots that struck and killed Zachary.
Police recovered the vehicle and the gun used in the murder in a Newburgh parking lot on Smith Street.
