2 dead, 1 injured in Poughkeepsie triple stabbing

Two men were killed and a woman was seriously injured after a triple-stabbing in Poughkeepsie Saturday morning. Police found the three victims at 10 a.m.

POUGHKEEPSIE - Two men were killed and a woman was seriously injured after a triple-stabbing in Poughkeepsie Saturday morning.

Police found the three victims at 10 a.m. in a second-floor apartment inside a complex on North Clinton Street.

A neighbor says a pregnant woman and her boyfriend lived in the apartment.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a third man dead from knife wounds. The woman and her boyfriend were taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he later died. The woman’s condition has not yet been released.

Police have not released the circumstances surrounding the stabbing or the identities of the victims.

Autopsies are scheduled for Monday after which the authorities are expected to release the names of the two men.
