2 events for Newburgh students no longer held at Ramada due to its housing of migrants

The Newburgh Free Academy Music Council is looking for a new venue to host its banquet, and Goldbacks Youth Football and Cheer posted on Facebook that that their comedy night fundraiser in June has been canceled.

Two highly anticipated events for Newburgh students will no longer be held at a Ramada that is now housing dozens of migrant men for New York City.  
News 12 has learned that the Newburgh Free Academy Music Council in now looking for a new venue to host its banquet in June after organizers were told the hotel in the Town of Newburgh is "no longer available for outside events," according to the school district.
Goldbacks Youth Football and Cheer posted on Facebook that that its comedy night fundraiser in June has been canceled since another venue can't be found on such short notice.
Representatives for Ramada tell News 12 that the location is independently operated. 
News 12 reached out to management by phone and was hung up on.
