Two police cruisers collided while responding to a call in Mount Vernon.

MOUNT VERNON - Two Mount Vernon police officers are recovering this morning after their two cruisers collided while heading to a call late last night.

The crash happened just before midnight at the corner of South Fourth Avenue and East Third Street in Mount Vernon.

Two officers, one from each vehicle, were rushed to the hospital with minor neck and back injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
