60-year-old Janice Madill accused of setting roommate’s bed on fire at Monsey Park Home for Adults
A woman who lives in a Rockland adult home is under arrest for allegedly trying to light her roommate's bed on fire.
Police say 60-year-old Janice Madill, who lives at the Monsey Park Home for Adults, allegedly set fire to her roommate's mattress while the woman was in bed on Monday.
No one was injured by the small blaze, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
Earlier this month, a man who lives at the facility hit his roommate in the head with a metal bar.
