64-year-old man identified as Mineola hit-and-run victim

The Williston Park man who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Mineola has been identified.
Police say Joseph Harrison, 64, was riding his bike on Mineola Boulevard near Washington Avenue when he was hit by an SUV.
The incident occurred on just after midnight on Oct. 2.
Harrison suffered a serious head injury and died at the hospital.
Police are asking for the public’s help to find the driver who left him at the scene. Investigators say they are searching for a 2006 to 2008, four-door Infiniti. They believe it's either silver or gray and likely has front end damage.
