Admitted flasher cops deal for Rockland incidents, faces 18 months
A convicted sex offender from New Jersey pleaded guilty Wednesday to a series of flashing incidents in Rockland County.
Eric Horstman, 32, admitted to flashing women and sometimes masturbating in front of them. He also admits to sometimes forcibly grabbing their breasts. Police say the incidents occurred throughout Clarkstown and Orangetown. One of the flashing victims was the daughter of a police officer, who eventually arrested Horstman in August.
Horstman pleaded guilty to forcible touching, public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child because one victim was under 17. As part of a plea deal, Horstman will be sentenced to 18 months in jail. He will be officially sentenced on February 14.
