Online retailer Amazon is bringing a distribution facility to Greenburgh.

The company is expected to open a roughly 100,000-square foot "Last Mile" distribution facility in an industrial complex on Warehouse Lane in Elmsford.

Town officials say the new facility will bring some much-needed jobs to the area.

"It's not a very large employer, under 100 employees will work there. But in this economy, anything we can get is better than nothing," says Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.

Amazon is expected to open the Elmsford distribution center by the end of the year.
