Anthony Clowe, of New Rochelle, charged with burglary in string of Chinese restaurant break-ins

NEW ROCHELLE - New Rochelle police have charged a man with burglary for at least two of four Chinese restaurant break-ins over the past few days.

Two of the restaurants are located on Pelham Road.  The other two are located on nearby North Avenue.

Police say they stopped the crime spree when the suspect, 43-year-old Anthony Clowe, struck Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant on Pelham Road.

A lieutenant saw a red Subaru outside the Bracey Apartment Complex on Main Street, the same car connected to a break-in last Thursday at the Sun Hing Chinese Restaurant on North Avenue.

While the man fled, police tracked the car to Clowe's residence on Clinton Avenue.
