Armed thieves terrorize Yonkers home on Hawthorne Avenue

YONKERS - Two armed thieves allegedly terrorized two young females during a home invasion in Yonkers overnight.

Yonkers police say they are on the hunt for two men who broke into three-story brick home on Hawthorne Avenue around 10 p.m. yesterday.

Detectives report the robbers stole two pocketbooks and some cash before fleeing in a dark-colored Dodge Caravan with Pennsylvania license plates.

The victims were not injured during the incident.
