Athletes compete in HV Special Olympics

The best of them will go up against thousands of others in the state Summer Games in early June.

Nearly a thousand athletes from across the region went for the win today at the annual Hudson Valley Special Olympics at West Point.

Special Olympics official Neal Johnson says the goal of the competition is to use sports to show what we all have in common.
