NYACK - A new medical center in Rockland County will soon be available to help those with mental health issues.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this morning for the brand new Behavioral Health Center at Nyack Hospital.
Doctors at the center will treat patients with acute psychiatric problems, as well as those who suffer from issues including depression or post-traumatic stress.
Patients can be referred to the center by their doctor, or be referred there through Nyack Hospital's emergency room.
The Behavioral Health Center at Nyack Hospital will be officially open for patient care next Tuesday starting at 10 a.m.
