The man who said he stabbed a woman to death in a Galleria Mall parking garage because she was white was sentenced Monday to 25 years to life in prison. In July, Phillip Grant, 44, was found guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of 56-year-old Connie Russo Carriero.
