Blown fuse blamed for crossing gate malfunction in Valhalla

News 12 was told the fuse was replaced and that the gate was back in normal operation about an hour and a half later.

A blown fuse is to blame for a crossing gate malfunction Friday morning in Valhalla, according to MTA officials.
The gate at Cleveland Street closed in the down position around 6 a.m.
Maintenance crews and MTA police were called to the scene near the Valhalla train station.
News 12 was told the fuse was replaced and that the gate was back in normal operation about an hour and a half later.
Harlem Line train service was not interrupted, an MTA spokesman said.
