Emergency procedures have been put into effect at Lakeland and Walter Panas High schools.

CORTLANDT MANOR - Students at Lakeland and Walter Panas high schools in Cortlandt Manor were evacuated this morning after a bomb threat.

School officials put emergency procedures into effect around 10 a.m. after the threat was called in.

Students tell News 12 they waited outside while police conducted a sweep of the buildings. Students were allowed back inside just after 11:30 a.m. 

No injuries were reported.
