A Briarcliff Manor High School student pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges stemming from his graduation ceremony pants drop.

David Turano, 18, entered the plea for charges of disorderly conduct and exposing himself. A judge then postponed the case until July 24.

Turano left Mount Pleasant Town Court in a conservative suit and tie, a far cry from his stunt last Thursday.

A YouTube video shows Turano mooning the audience and his classmates during the ceremony at Pace University. Turano refused to talk, but his lawyer chalked the case up to the school overacting.

"The public realizes this was no more than a ? prank," said attorney Michael Santangelo. "My client deeply regrets his actions. The embarrassment suffered by my client and his family is punishment enough."

Turano could face a fine or community service if he's found guilty. He has yet to receive his diploma and he's banned from school property.
