Parents are getting the scoop on their child?s school performance at parent-teacher conferences throughout the Bronx and city this week.In order to make the most of the meetings, the National Education Association says parents should arrive on time and ask questions. Parents should also ask the teacher for specific suggestions on ways to help their child do better. These suggestions can be used to create an action plan that students can follow. Parent teacher conferences are held twice a year, in the fall and in the spring.
