Twenty-two acres of Harriman State Park are still smoking, but park officials say the flames have been contained.
Officials say because Monday?s brush fire erupted between two lakes, the little smoldering that remains should burn out naturally. But warn there?s still a risk for future fires due to extremely dry conditions.
They?re asking campers to avoid any open flames, including camp fires and cigarettes to help prevent another blaze.
