BREWSTER - The first ever brewery in Putnam County debuted Saturday with a grand opening that also helped support our troops.

Co-owner Wendy Wulkan and her partner Rick Cipriani opened the doors to Bull & Barrel Brew Pub with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included an electronic bull, barbecue and plenty of beer. The opening was also a fundraiser to help support the organization United for the Troops.

The brewery has created over 80 jobs. The owners say they hope to continue to help give an economic boost to the city of Brewster.
