The Burke Catholic School in Goshen held a special pep rally for the boys basketball team yesterday after bringing home the class B state championship over the weekend.
Coach Doug Janeczko says he is proud of his team for its 62-52 win over Potsdam, and that the victory is still barely sinking in for him and his players.
"I learned a lot of teamwork goes real far," said co-captain Brendan Miller after his team's big win. The team will head to Albany Friday for the class B federation championship.
