Bushes give Obamas White House walkthrough
President-elect Barack Obama met with President George W. Bush at the White House Monday for a tour of the executive estate and a chance to discuss the upcoming presidential transition, the first since Sept. 11. The president elect also took his first steps ever in the Oval Office.
The meeting was kept out of the public eye for the most part, but Obama staffers said earlier that they expected the day to go calmly and politely.
The visit lasted for about an hour before Obama returned to Chicago.
