YONKERS - Yonkers officials are hoping a new marketing campaign will help revamp the city.

Mayor Mike Spano today unveiled the latest "Generation Yonkers" campaign at the Hudson River Museum on Wednesday.

The initiative is complete with new TV ads in an effort to attract younger people into the city. The ads feature the economic development, arts and culture, education, and nightlife. "We really feel an energy and vibrancy and feel everyone is embracing the Generation Yonkers campaign," says Planning and Development Commissioner Wilson Kimball.

Officials say plans to revive the city's economy are also underway.
