NEW YORK - A new café that that pays homage to the TV sitcom "Golden Girls" has opened in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City.

Rue la Rue cafe honors the legacy of actress Rue McClanahan, who played sassy Blanche Devereaux on the classic show.

The restaurant is decorated with photos and memorabilia from the actress's estate.

But that's not all. Patrons can also try some of her and her friends' favorite recipes. "We've got Bea Arthur's pasta salad, Betty White’s angel food cake, Estelle Getty's chocolate chip cookies, Adrienne Barbeau's dip. All of these people she worked with over the years, we have recipes for, so we're going to be running them as specials all the time," says owner Michael LaRue.

The owner also manages McClanahan’s estate and plans to rotate over 200 Golden Girls pieces throughout the cafe.
