The butcher who provided mislabeled kosher meat to a store in Spring Valley is being accused of causing the mix up.
Moshe Finkel, the butcher who owns Shevach Meats, is accused of mislabeling non-kosher chicken as kosher and stocking it on a store's shelves. Orthodox Jewish residents are now circulating Finkel's picture to alert the community. The store's shelves have since been stripped of the meat.
Meantime, Orthodox Jewish residents say they must now purify or kasher all of the kitchen items that may have come in contact with the non-kosher meat.
