A Soundview woman died after plastic surgery from an unlicensed person, police say.

Fior-Daliza Pichardo, 43, died on March 18 due to silicone pulmonary embolism stemming from silicone injections she received two days earlier, according to medical examiners.

Pichardo's family says an unidentifiable woman performed the procedure inside Pichardo's home on Rosedale Avenue. The unlicensed doctor was recommended by a friend, and Pichardo had received injections before.

After the latest injection, Pichardo went to the hospital after she felt dizzy and had difficulty breathing.
