Car crashes through guardrail on Sprain Brook Parkway

<p>One car was pulled out of an embankment after appearing to crash through the guardrail on the southbound side of the parkway near the Jackson Avenue exit.</p>

A serious two-car crash closed down the southbound lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway late Tuesday evening.
Police say the crash happened on the southbound side of the parkway near the Jackson Avenue exit.
Greenburgh police and firefighters from the Fairview Fire Department responded to the two-car collision. One car was pulled out of an embankment after appearing to crash through the guardrail.
It is unknown at this time what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.
