HASTINGS - A car caught fire on the Saw Mill Parkway this afternoon, causing delays on the roadway.

The car caught fire on the southbound side of the parkway, south of Lawrence Street.

The car was fully engulfed in flames by the time the Hastings Fire Department arrived on scene.    

No one was hurt in the incident, but traffic was backed up as firefighters worked to put out the flames
