Car hits man, crashes into West Haverstraw building

WEST HAVERSTRAW - An out-of-control car hit a man and then crashed into a building in West Haverstraw, sending three people to the hospital last night.

Police say the car hit a man at about 9 p.m. on Samsondale Avenue. The car then crashed into a nearby Cablevision building.

The victim was rushed to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Two people that were in the car were also brought to the hospital.

No charges have been filed as of yet.

The Cablevision building did not appear to be damaged. Cablevision is the parent company of News 12.
