The FDNY held it’s 25th Second Chance ceremony Tuesday for cardiac arrest victims who were saved by first responders.

One of those survivors is Raymond Wasson, a bagpiper who was set to play before a Brooklyn Cyclones game last August.

“…Walking up the stairs to go to my seat, I went into full cardiac arrest,” he told News 12.

It just so happens that two nurses and a paramedic were nearby when it happened. Soon, the FDNY and EMS responded and helped save his life.

 “No words can describe what these outstanding men and women did for me,” says Wasson.
