Cars ransacked overnight on Webster Avenue in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE - A number of cars were ransacked overnight in New Rochelle.

Police say they are investigating multiple reports that someone stole items out of unlocked cars on Webster Avenue.

They say electronics like GPS devices and cellphones were taken.

Investigators say half a dozen cars were robbed. They have no suspects in the case yet.

Police are urging residents to lock their cars.
