CC Sabathia surprises Little League players
The Little League players at Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in Castle Hill got a special visit from a baseball star at the league's playoff game Saturday.
New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia surprised the players, signed their shirts and answered some of their questions.
Sabathia says he is a big fan of the Boys and Girls Club because he was involved with the organization when he was a kid.
Sabathia and New York Mets outfielder Curtis Granderson sponsor the fall baseball league at Kips Bay. It's made up of around 100 kids from the Kips Bay and Madison Square Boys and Girls clubs.
Right now, Sabathia and Granderson are just sponsoring the baseball league in the Bronx, but Sabathia says he would like to take it nationwide one day.
