Life expectancy in New York dropped three years in 2020, according to the CDC.
While CDC rankings show life expectancy dropping in every state, New York’s decline was the largest across the county.
People are expected to live to just 74 years of age in the state.
The average male lifespan is around 75 and the average female lifespan is roughly 81.
Hawaii has the longest life expectancy at just over 80 years. Mississippi has the shortest at just under 72.
