Section One girls swimming championships were on the line in Nyack Thursday.

Horace Greeley got off to a strong start, with their 200 meter medley relay team. Zoe Chung, Kiara Cekic, Sabrina Johnston and Emma Zhu took the gold.

In the 200 meter freestyle, second seeded Lucy Walker from Dobbs Ferry won in a great three-way battle for her first career section title.

Then history was made in the 200 meter individual medley.

Greeley senior Sabrina Johnston dominated and won in just over 2 minutes and 1 second. That's a new section record and automatic all-American status.
