The charred remains of a missing woman were found on the roof of a Bronx building Wednesday, police say.

According to authorities, the dismembered body of 29-year-old Mannuella Paulemont was discovered at around 3 p.m. at 2640 Marion Ave. Investigators say the victim?s head and torso were burned, and her arms and legs were severed.

Paulemont's family notified authorities three days earlier that she had gone missing. Investigators searched her Fordham neighborhood before they discovered her body.

Police say they are questioning her ex-boyfriend in connection to the case. Authorities say 28-year-old Shadron Rambert was held overnight for violating an order of protection against Paulemont. The woman filed the order in July 2008, accusing Rambert of assault and harassment. He is facing charges of criminal contempt and burglary.

Investigators say they are waiting for autopsy results to determine the cause of Paulemont?s death.
