Fourth of July is a time of celebrations, but one Chester family is using it as a time to hope for justice in a soldier?s death.

It's been two years and two months since Bob and Vivian Allen?s son, Lieutenant Louis Allen, was killed in Iraq. A fellow U.S. soldier is facing capital charges for Allen?s murder. Staff Sgt. Alberto Martinez is accused of setting a bomb that killed Allen and Captain Phil Esposito, of Pearl River. Both men were Martinez's superiors.

The Allens are still waiting for the wheels of justice to turn. They have gone to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, for each and every hearing. They were hoping for some resolution at a hearing in August. However that court date, like many others, has now been pushed back. Vivian Allen says she is frustrated that the judge would allow the delays to continue.

The Allens say despite everything, they are still proud of their country and what their son stood for.
