HARRISON - A Hudson Valley charitable organization is hitting a major milestone today.

For 33 years, the Corporate Angel Network has flown thousands of children with cancer to treatment across the country. Today, the organization watched its 45,000th patient with cancer take off from Westchester Country Airport.

The Corporate Angel Network flies cancer patients to the best possible treatment centers in the country for free using empty seats on corporate jets. Its mission is to get them the best possible treatment with as little emotional or financial stress as possible.

Today's passenger, Todd Blake, a 22-year-old suffering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma, is returning to Jacksonville after getting treatment at Columbia University.
