11h agoThe Clarkstown Police Department mourned the loss Saturday of Officer Anthony "Tony" Morena.
He was auxiliary police officer from 2005 to 2018. At the time of his retirement, Morena had recorded over 5,000 hours of volunteer service to the department.
The department says his selfless sacrifice of his time on weekends and holidays helped to maintain peace and safety in the neighborhood he loved.
