Clarkstown Police Chief McCullagh retired on Friday following 35 years on the force.
McCullough graduated from Clarkstown schools and worked his way up the ranks over the years. He’s earned numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career.
McCullough is described as a true public servant with a deep commitment to not only the department but also the community.
News 12 is told Jeff Wanamaker will serve as Clarkstown’s interim chief.
