Clarkstown police are investigating Tuesday whether an apparent car theft ring is targeting the Palisades Center.
Police say two cars were stolen from the mall Monday night. According to investigators, the suspects fled on Route 303. One of the cars was found on the side of the road and the other was found in the village of Haverstraw on Elks Drive. The suspects took off on foot but Clarkstown and Haverstraw police along with Spring Valley's canine unit were all in pursuit.
Clarkstown police confirm they have three adults and one juvenile behind bars, who they believe are connected to the car thefts. Police also say that they are continuing to investigate a possible larger car theft ring in the area.
