A lockdown was put into place on campus after a student made a threat.

The College of New Rochelle on Castle Place was put into lockdown this afternoon after a threat by a former student.

Campus officials put emergency procedures into place on campus at around 1 p.m. They say an ex-student made a threat against the school to another student, who then reported the conversation.
