Charlie Scopoletti has written a song that he will perform on Friday night in Port Chester.

YONKERS - A benefit concert for the Make-A-Wish Foundation will take place on Friday in Port Chester, and one local man was given the tough task of coming up with song in tribute of all Make-A-Wish has done for the community.

Charlie Scopoletti, of Rye Brook, joined Lisa Reyes in the News 12 studios to discuss his efforts to help the charity.

Scopoletti will be performing the song with Duncan Sheik at the Capital Theater in Port Chester.

The singer/songwriter has helped raise over $100,000 for charities through music.
