Construction worker injured in Middletown
Police say a construction worker in Middletown was thrown from a forklift after it suddenly tipped over today.
The incident happened this morning where the new Ramapo baseball stadium is being built.
Officials say the worker, 26-year-old Joseph Delaney, suffered a broken femur bone in his leg.
Crews say they had to use a county emergency vehicle to transport the victim to the road and into an ambulance due to the muddy conditions following last night's storm.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) says it has been notified and will conduct an investigation.
