? Police say they have arrested the person who threatened to shoot up a Westchester BOCES campus last week and carve up its principal, prompting the school to be locked down.

Police were called to the BOCES campus on Old Yorktown Road in Yorktown Friday morning after 19-year-old Christopher Gabriele, claiming to be a former student, allegedly called the guidance office with the threats.

Investigators had the guidance counselor remain on the line with the caller, and once they determined the threat to the school to be credible, they contacted the Town of Newburgh Police Department. Officers say they were then able to apprehend Gabriele at his Newburgh home while he was still on the phone with the school.

Gabriele is being held at the Westchester County jail. He is being charged with making a terrorist threat, which is a felony.The lockdown was lifted in less than an hour.
