Police in Spring Valley are looking for three suspects who attacked and robbed two people within minutes of each other Tuesday.
According to police, the first robbery occurred around 5:00 a.m. on Union Road. Police say a man jumped out of a silver car, attacked a 48-year-old woman from behind and stole her purse.
Police say about 15 minutes later and a mile away, a 49-year-old man was walking across Lawrence Street when a silver car tried to hit him. Cops say two men jumped out of the car and pistol whipped the man. The pair stole $3,000 from the victim?s wallet, according to police.
Both victims sought medical attention after the attacks. Police say they are certain the robberies are related. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Spring Valley Police Department at 845-356-7400.
