A number of coronavirus cases has impacted schools in Nyack, forcing them to adjust their class instructions.
Valley Cottage Elementary School will be closed until Nov. 6 after a second COVID-19 positive test. In-person learning will begin on Nov. 9.
Nyack Middle School is closed for in-person learning today following a positive case there. Contact tracing is underway, and nine staff members must quarantine for the mandatory 14-day period.
A member of the junior varsity tennis team and two other members of Nyack High School have also tested positive for COVID-19. The high school will be closed for in-person learning today. School officials say a minimum of six staff members are under quarantine.
