Cuomo motivates Westchester Democrats to unify as primary day looms
With primary day closing in, attorney general candidate Andrew Cuomo rallied in Yonkers to motivate Westchester Democrats to unify.
With the recent drop out of Charlie King, it?s now a three-person race for state attorney general -- former New York City Public Advocate Mark Green, former Clinton White House aide Sean Patrick Maloney and front runner Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo, who was recently endorsed by King, told the crowd Saturday that primaries tend to divide political parties. Cuomo says government is about making a difference and he can do that. Democrats in attendance gave their party?s leader a roaring cheer of support.
The winner of the primary will go against former Westchester District Attorney Jeanine Pirro in November.
