Both major-party gubernatorial candidates, Democrat Andrew Cuomo and Republican Carl Paladino, were in Westchester County today to try and drum up support for their campaigns.
Paladino traveled to White Plains with fellow Republican Anthony Mele, who is running for Congress in the 17th Congressional District. Paladino offered his endorsement for Mele.
Meanwhile, Cuomo was joined by Rep. John Hall (D- N.Y.) in Bedford, where he offered his endorsement for Hall in his bid for re-election.
The Cuomo campaign also took time to show that it wasn't operating on "cruise control" after the latest polls showed Cuomo with a commanding lead over Paladino, with only a week to go until Election Day.
