The Putnam County District Attorney's Office says it will dismiss shoplifting charges against the Rockland County GOP chairman as long as he stays out of trouble for six months. Clarkstown police arrested 77-year-old Vincent Reda the day after Christmas for allegedly stealing a coat from the Macy's store in Nanuet. Prosecutors say there was no evidence of intentional wrongdoing in the case.
